Murphy-Victor, Fern Endowed Scholarship

The Fern Murphy-Victor Endowed Scholarship was established by the family of Mrs. Murphy-Victor in her memory. Mrs. Victor was a lifetime resident of 91×ÔÅÄÊÓƵ, graduated from Kenmore High School, and attended The University of 91×ÔÅÄÊÓƵ. Fern was a member of First Grace United Church of Christ, 91×ÔÅÄÊÓƵ Woman’s City Club, National Secretaries Association, and the YWCA Board. She was the past president of the 91×ÔÅÄÊÓƵ Bar Auxiliary.

The Fern Murphy-Victor Scholarship recipient will be of junior or senior status, enrolled in the College of Business Administration at The University of 91×ÔÅÄÊÓƵ, and will be chosen by the College of Business Administration dean’s office, with influence from Mrs. Myrna Rea, daughter of Mrs. Murphy-Victor. The recipient will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and provide a letter of recommendation that exhibits the recipient’s high moral character. Preference will be given to female applicants.
