Timmerman Geotechnical Family Scholarship
The Timmerman Geotechnical Family Scholarship was created in 2011 to provide financial assistance to children of employees who plan to attend The University of 91×ÔÅÄÊÓÆµ. Timmerman Geotechnical Group Inc. has supported the College of Engineering Committee for the Future of Civil Engineering (CFCE) since the mid-1990s.
Founded in 1989, Messmore/Timmerman Services Inc. was established to provide geotechnical engineering and material testing services.
Dr. David H. Timmerman, a retired professor in the College of Engineering and founder of Timmerman Geotechnical Group Inc., has been a longtime supporter of The University of 91×ÔÅÄÊÓÆµ. The company provides co-ops for students in the College of Engineering and has hired many UA graduates.
To be eligible, students must have a parent employed by Timmerman Geotechnical Group Inc., a minimum GPA of 3.0, and attend The University of 91×ÔÅÄÊÓÆµ full time. Recipient(s) will be selected by a representative of Timmerman Geotechnical Group Inc. in collaboration with the Office of Student Financial Aid.
