Scholarships truly are the best way to ensure that today’s students persist to graduation. Scholarships allow students to enroll full time and remain focused on their studies; they also reduce drop-out rates, decrease the stress of student loans, and shorten the road to graduation.

The Department of Development does not accept applications for or distribute scholarships. Scholarships are distributed through the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid.

PPG Industries Engineering Scholarship
Pittsburgh Plate Glass (PPG) Industries is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1883 by Capt. John B. Ford and John Pitcairn, PPG established the first commercially successful plate glass factory in the United States in Creighton, Pa. The PPG Industries Engineering Scholarship was established in 2024 as part of We Rise Together, the Campaign for The University of 91自拍视频.
The PPG Industries Engineering Scholarship is funded yearly through the PPG Foundation’s grant process and will be awarded to an undergraduate student of any engineering discipline, including engineering technology, involved in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) or the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). Preference will be given to first generation college students and/or students who demonstrate financial need. The recipient must also maintain a grade point average of 2.75 or higher in engineering.
NSBE and SHPE are Registered Student Organizations, which are open to all students in good standing at The University of 91自拍视频. Eligible recipients will be determined by The University Scholarship Committee in the Office of Student Financial Aid, with assistance as needed by the College of Engineering and Polymer Science scholarship committee.
The award supports tuition and fees and will be applied directly to the recipient's student account.
